A RPh or PharmD degree required
One year of retail pharmacy experience desired but not required
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry
Ability to differentiate details related to product codes and descriptions (such as verifying a string of numbers)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages
Good written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in processes
Well-developed critical thinking skills
Must be self motivated and able to work independently

Job DescriptionThe PRN Pharmacist will ensure safe and effective processing of prescription and non-prescription medications and devices by ensuring products are properly labeled and packaged for delivery to individuals via common courier.
The Pharmacist will perform Drug Utilization Reviews and Product Verification on prescriptions to ensure accuracy. Manage employees in the pharmacy to ensure efficient and safe dispensing of prescriptions.
Provide customer service to veterinarians, pet owners, and sales representatives.
Manage filing of paperwork such as invoices and prescriptions.
Complete other duties, assignments and special projects as requested by Pharmacist in Charge.
