Responsible for driving the marketing mix of the canine osteoarthritis portfolio, with a primary focus on Galliprant (grapiprant tablets). Drive strategic brand planning & implementation to maximize market opportunity and align with global long-range strategy. Represent the brand(s) amongst cross-functional internal teams and multiple channels.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Execution and Planning of Country Affiliate Category and Brand Planning:
Annual brand planning to provide plans for budgeting, forecasting, strategy and tactical execution across multiple channels, as agreed with leadership.
Execute the roll out of marketing campaigns designed to aid in the achievement of sales targets in line with specific objectives, as identified in the annual brand plan.
Collate the elements and ideas resulting from workshops, focus groups, market research and sales team feedback into an integrated marketing mix, aimed at meeting the needs of the market and maximizing any opportunities presented.
Gives input to and applies pricing strategies as agreed by Global, Regional and Local direction (and/or published pricing structure) in specific negotiations for the brands.
Coordinate production and supply of product & support material:
Working closely with creative agencies to develop brand assets and materials, both digital and print.
Partner with medical, legal and regulatory review committee, ensuring compliance with industry, government and internal organizational regulatory requirements.
Work closely with supply chain, packaging and regulatory departments to ensure that product is in supply to match forecast and meet all legal requirements in terms of packaging, text, and insert leaflets.
Expenditure & Sales Forecasting:
Properly plan and manage marketing expenditure budgets for brands. Ensure appropriate allocation of resources within the agreed budget and ultimate budget holders. Included is the management of relevant external agencies - advertising, creative, communication and PR.
Partner with business unit leadership to ensure alignment on market demand, sales and profitability objectives.
Develop a deep understanding of customer insights, tensions and needs.
Refine and stay focused on the customer journey to align with market research and evolving customer needs.
Serve internal customer groups to support brand key objectives, such as sales team, customer support and field veterinary service.
Analyze needs and requirements by interacting with customers, consumers, and sales teams, determining appropriate market research to determine customer needs and to identify the competitive pricing.
Market information monitoring in which the brand(s) compete, including market sector values, market shares and position, competitive positions and information, market research data.

Companion animal marketing experience
Direct-to-consumer marketing experience
Experience in the canine pain or OA market
Familiarity with project approval requirements, Medical/Legal/Regulatory review, Good Promotional Practices ("GPP"), Elanco policies and procedures
