To help achieve our ambitious goals, we wish to recruit a top class, highly motivated, results-driven Global Manager - Alternate Veterinary Delivery Models. Office-based, reporting to the Head of Marketing ACE (Animal Care Expansion: pet specialty, online and food drug mass - FDM - channels) and focused on developing non-traditional veterinary models. The successful applicant will be responsible the strategic direction of these models globally with strong focus on the US. The appointed candidate will be expected to build intimate and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Define Global Elanco strategy for alternate veterinary delivery models pertaining to the ACE channel.
Alternate veterinary models include but not limited to:
wellness clinics in FDM retailers such as Walmart
Mobile clinics such as VIP or Vetco
Omnichannel novel veterinary delivery models such as Petcoach
Stay abreast of industry trends, understand implications for ACE channels and develop recommendations aligned with alternate delivery models strategy
Liaise with regulatory and veterinary technical group to anticipate regulation changes and understand implications for ACE channels. Drive ACE strategy accordingly
Build network of emerging animal care start ups, partner with BDL group to provide funding and/or collaborate on go to market partnership opportunities to put Elanco ACE channels on the forefront of new trends in the space
Work collaboratively with ACE R&D and Innovation as well as IT/Multichannel marketing teams to lead launch of strategically important new vehicles and platforms.
Lead management of all marketing elements for key partners within the alternative veterinary delivery models segment in partnership with respective ACE Key Account and Alliance Managers
To champion ACE and its portfolio within the broader organization.
Strong understanding of EPA, FDA and USDA regulatory environments
Strong strategic thinking
Demonstrated strong project management skills
Highly developed analytical skills - a strong mix of financial, development, commercial
Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperate and collaborate with all levels of an organization
Commercial understanding including P&L development.
Good understanding of the animal health industry and emerging pet care trends
Strong commercial focus
Relevant market experience essential
Cross-functional project leadership
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Can do attitude, with ability to influence and work in a collaborative way.
Proven implementation ability.
Analytical use of data.
Proactive and results driven - brings new ideas to the table & not afraid to try something new.
Good interpersonal skills, able to influence management and other senior stakeholders.
MBA degree on top of DVM preferred
