Job RequirementsWORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year Veterinary Practice experience, preferable management, CVT, CVPM
Preferred 2 years outside veterinary sales/consultation experience, minimum 1 year
Preferred employee management experience, minimum 1 year
Good communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Programs, Practice Management Software, Apple iPad, Google Platform
75% weekday travel, some overnight travel and occasional weekends/after hours
Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the District Manager is to manage the activities of the Area Managers to achieve maximum efficiency and sales results; providing direct coaching, monitoring, training and assistance to Area Managers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uphold Purchasing Services, Inc. mission statement and values.
Directly responsible for the supervision of the Area Managers, including quarterly performance observations and annual performance reviews.
Execute strategies to mentor and assist Area Managers to maximize sales performance and attain goals for their geography.
Train new Area Managers and coach as needed.
Assist to resolve any member and vendor issues in the assigned region.
Act as Vendor Liaison/relationship manager with coordinating District/Regional vendor managers, attend/direct/present at local meetings for and in conjunction with vendors.
Attend and assist with VMA meeting in assigned region.
Review bi-weekly Area Manager reporting, including mileage, expenses, leads, prospects, and activity.
Review I-snapshot activity and monitor team success/activity and provide regular feedback/reporting to team.
