Outside Sales Business & Practice Solutions Specialist (MN, WI, ND & IL)
Job RequirementsMidwest Veterinary Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Business & Practice Solutions Specialist for our Region 1 territory covering Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Illinois.
Suggested locations: Minneapolis, La Crosse, Eau Claire
Sell Midwests Business & Practice Solutions to clinics. Qualify each clinic through pre-call planning and create customized Business & Practice Solutions offerings to fit each clinics needs. Once the tools are in place, work with the clinics to grow their business by educating and training them on the use of Midwest's Business & Practice Solutions.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
A High School Diploma or Equivalency required
A four year college degree is preferred
Veterinary Sales, Marketing and or Animal Health Industry experience required
Experience with online ordering preferred
Experience with web based commerce platforms preferred
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
Microsoft Excel 2007
Microsoft Word 2007
AS/400 Client Access experience preferred
LegaSuite Web Client experience preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and professional sales techniques
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Ability to work with corporate office to achieve mutual goals
Must be self motivated and able to work independently
Must have a valid drivers license
Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions:
The Outside Sales Business & Practice Solutions Specialist will prospect clinics to sell Midwest Business & Practice Solutions. During clinic visits use consultative selling techniques to present the practice with the customized Business & Practice Solutions toolset that was created during the pre-call planning process. Provide decision makers and clinic staff with live demonstrations of the Solutions being offered. Represent Midwest at industry trade shows and other strategic selling events. Host dinner meetings to educate clinics about Midwest's Business & Practice Solutions.
The Outside Sales Business & Practice Solutions Specialist will be responsible for sales closes and timely clinic enrollment in Business & Practice Solutions programs. Document key interactions with decision makers and clinic staff. Provide on-site setup and training of the Solutions for the clinic. Make regular follow up calls to the clinic to ensure that the Business & Practice Solutions provided are being utilized properly by the practice.
The Outside Sales Business & Practice Solutions Specialist will participate in weekly Department conference calls to review sales targets and performance goals. Manage and submit expense account to corporate within a two week time frame.

Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal, telephone, fax and copier. Employee must have working vehicle for sales calls.
Work will be performed on the road and clinic to clinic year-round and will include exposure to all seasonal elements. Travel for sales calls and sales meetings/training may require overnight stays and ability to travel by air.
