Job Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years experience as director or VP level marketing/sales in animal health
- Proven ability to create strategic sales/marketing plans
- Proven ability to execute and manage sales/marketing plans
- Experience in large and small company environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
- Proficient computer skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Experience/knowledge in internet social media (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, digital mkt)
- Passionate about contributing to the success of veterinarians in the care of animals
- Ability to rapidly and positively adapt to change in a small company environment
- Experience in service-based business is a strong asset

Job Description

Successful candidate will lead the marketing and the sales functions of the company for the foreseeable future. For this reason, the candidate should have a strong sales background as well as quantitative marketing experience. The greatest challenge for the company is getting market penetration and top line growth with a novel and expensive new service. Current sales are about $4 million per year with a targeted growth rate of 30% per year in the near term. Candidate should come to the job with creativity, rapid adaptability, and a network of resources in the industry.
