Job Description

• Commission where necessary ad hoc market research, setting clear objectives and appropriate brief. Gain and understanding of the ethical veterinary sales market, customer requirements, competition, trends, threats and opportunities
• Create and implement the marketing strategy for assigned Vet products in designated product ranges, manage the preparations of the associated marketing materials, working either in house or with design/advertising agencies. Liaise with opinion leaders and outside associations that may be appropriate to assist in marketing the assigned products. Manage an expense budget. Monitor publications, journals and competitor information and comment accordingly. Ensure that the necessary training, both technical and product marketing strategy is given to sales management and customer service
• Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing new product and business opportunities as assigned
• Developing and managing business and project plans in support of existing product lines and new product launches
• Prepare an annual marketing plan with input from regional sales managers, other marketing managers, VET Sales and Marketing Manager and selected Territory Managers
