Job Description
Midwest Veterinary Supply is a leader in the veterinary distribution industry. We are a 49 year old family and employee owned company that represents a vast array of veterinarian products. We represent most major veterinary manufacturers. We currently have an opportunity for a field sales representative in the Shreveport, Louisiana area.Duties and Responsibilities:
* Service existing accounts, increasing sales volume through placing of new products and growing the demand for existing products.
* Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on prospective customers in the assigned territory.
* Provide a team approach to growing sales volume and market share with assigned Inside Sales Representative and Manufacture Sales Representatives.
* Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly call reports, monthly route schedule, and annual territory analysis.
* Maintain professional and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, attending regional and national sales meetings; establish vendor relationships, and participating in professional organizations.
* Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing goal related results.
