Job Requirements
• Experience in equine veterinary sales• Able to travel 50% of the time
• Have at least 3+ years of sales experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to understand and operate veterinary equipment
• Worked with distribution channels in sales activities
Job Description
• Achieve growth in sales and product exposure• Manage/establish excellent relationships with distributors and end-users
• Assist with training of distributor sales force
• Support and assist distribution sales force with client interaction and technical inquiries
• Help identify & attend selected trade events both regional & national
• Build & establish relationships with practicing veterinarians
• Help identify key veterinary practices w/distributor
• Develop intimate knowledge of the product line
• Prioritize key markets, new accounts, and call on them accordingly
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and materials
• Provide detail information on competitive products/specs/pricing etc.
• Complete monthly calls, sales and expense reports
• Help develop sales presentations as required
