Job Requirements
** 3+ years in animal health sales or account management and 6+ years of work experience** Strong interpersonal skills and positive approach to people / problem solving
** Excellent oral and written communication skills
** Self-starter and team player
** Ability to spend 75%+ of time in the ‘field’ – meeting with rDVMs in Long Island, Westchester County and the surrounding areas.
Job Description
The referral coordinator is responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving relationships with referral veterinarians' that either are referring or should be referring cases to our specialty hospitals in Westbury, NY and Katonah-Bedford, NY. The Referral Coordinator will visit rDVMs, arrange for specialists to visit rDVMs, organize continuing education events and respond to any issues an rDVM may be having.Primary Objective: Increase revenues at the hospitals through increased referrals from rDVMs
Measurement of performance: Track growth in revenues and referrals from targeted accounts to quantify impact
