Job DescriptionThe Training Manager is responsible for designing and executing all training programs for Vetoquinol USA to improve individual and organizational performance. The central responsibility of the role is the execution of Vetoquinol's established Sales Excellence Training Program. The Training Manager reports directly to the North American Training Manager with a dotted line reporting responsibility to the US Human Resources Director. The position is field based, working out of the Fort Worth Headquarters, or a home-based office.
*Executes Vetoquinol's Sales Excellence Training in accordance with company guidelines
*Ensures all sales staff members are trained in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
*Trains line managers in techniques and skills to help them in their coaching role in sales force effectiveness towards their respective employees.
*Partners with corporate training staff to recommend changes to the sales training program in an effort of continuous improvement.
*Partners with the HR Manager and the line manager as necessary to provide training resources for performance intervention systems.
*Develops training initiatives and strategies to improve organizational performance.
*Implements in-person and electronic training programs focused on individual performance.
*Tracks and reports on data related to training effectiveness.
*Manages assigned training budgets.
*Maintains systems to ensure the accurate tracking of sales records.
*Surveys employees and managers as necessary to determine training needs and desired results.
*Ensures proper communication is executed regarding company training programs, including prompt reviews and replies to email, voice mail and phone calls
*Meets all required deadlines and proper follow-up and follow through on requests assigned or asked of Training Manager
*Supports the company vision and mission, and demonstrates the corporate core values in all professional activities.
*Complies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and regulations.
*Compiles and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
*Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.
*Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
*All other duties as requested by management.
