*Minimum of 5-7 years of business to business sales management experience
*Experience in the animal health industry is highly preferable

Job DescriptionThis is a field-based role that will work out of a home-based office.
The National Account Manager will devise the strategy and perform negotiations for Vetoquinol within the U.S. animal health distribution network. They are responsible for oversight of the relationships, contracts, promotional activities, rebates, analytics and partner with sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue and margin performance. They will actively seek and share information with the Large Animal, Small Animal and Key Account teams. The successful candidate in this role will be a strategic thinker and persuasive leader, skilled at communication and consensus building.
National Account Management
*Manages the contract process, development of programs and promotions, and maintains key relationships with assigned distributors
*Leads negotiations and contract execution with assigned distributors
*Guides the development of product and price offers for relevant contracts under their responsibility
*Notifies distributors of new products and manages product transitions with associated pricing changes
*Makes recommendations and implement programs to increase revenue and market share or a change in distributor margins, rebate structures and/or pricing.
*Evaluates contract compliance, market share gain through contract offerings and return on administrative feels and/or rebates
*Provides guidance to Key Accounts in cross-divisional initiatives among GPO and corporate activity
*Partners with Key Accounts and Sales to seek and share insights of national landscape and trends
*Communicates consistently and frequently with sales, marketing and finance leaders and their respective direct reports regarding any issues that arise pertaining to their area of responsibility
*Provides sales force with distributor updates and competitive information on a regular basis and lead periodic Business Unit Reviews on portfolio and performance
*Participates in sales and/or marketing training on new products as needed
*Supports Key Account Managers initiatives with pertinent training and education, as recommended by the Sr. Key Account Manager
*Attends Vetoquinol and industry meetings and adhere to all corporate policies as published, as well as advanced guidelines in interactions with customers
