Job DescriptionVetriScience Laboratories, a division of FoodScience Corporation, is seeking a Customer Manager to represent their professional line of products within the veterinary channel in the state of Texas. Please read the brief description below and if interested apply now. Target start date for this role will be January 30, 2017.
Customer Manager II will lead all aspects of developing and managing sales actions and results relating to the VetriScience Laboratories line of nutritional supplement products for dogs and cats. The role includes incorporating company growth targets with the territory plan to maximize results with both existing and new customers. The Customer Manager II works 50% in the field and 50% via phone to most efficiently cover this large geography.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Achieve required sales growth objectives for overall SKUs and Pro Line SKUs
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Meet or exceed company and job specific standards and metrics
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Maintain, qualify, and respond to all inquiries and communications from existing and new customers in assigned territory throughout the work day, and nights and weekend as needed
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Manage customer relations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Develop sales forecast on monthly and annual basis to help forecast the company volume and production requirements
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Manage territory expense budget, staying within preset spending limits
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Work beyond normal office hours as needed to serve customers
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Work outside your assigned territory as required by the company including overnight travel
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Attend tradeshows and conferences with overnight travel if needed to serve the assigned customers or secure new customers
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Develop and deliver customized sales presentations needed to sell both large and small vet clinics in order to achieve sales growth objectives
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Make calls via phone and emails, and in person when appropriate to current customers to pitch new products, update on monthly promotions, and provide product knowledge with the objective of closing the sale
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Achieve successful execution and results of programs and promotions to build relationships with veterinarians and distributors in an effort to promote and grow the brand in your assigned territory or customer list
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Provide technical support to customers when requested
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Working independently using tools created by you or are provided to you to deliver sales objectives and deliver customer requirements
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Maintain computerized customer sales records (CRM) within company guidelines
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Complete and submit company records on time, as required, including expense reports, sales forecasts, customer plans, follow-up sales documents, and other documents required as part of the job duties
Ã¢ï¿½Â¢ Work in concert with Business Developers as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor College degree required plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The successful candidate will have a history of demonstrated successes in sales positions, both in person and via phone. They will exhibit a high level of entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen and a passion for the animal health category. The ability to learn technical material, and above average computer proficiency are also desired.
